The Benefits of MEDICAL SIMULATIONS MEDICAL SIMULATIONS case histories offer physicians and nurses an opportunity to match their own diagnostic and clinical management skills with those of the experts - ie, the author(s) of each case. There are no questions or answers! Rather, MEDICAL SIMULATIONS case histories are designed to simulate the actual practice of medicine. For example, instead of answering questions about the case, participants must actually evaluate the patient themselves; do the necessary testing; and commit to a diagnosis. Then comes the task of making all the decisions necessary for successful management of the patient.
